After many complaint investigations by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services over a number of years, the long nightmare*fn1 involving Kimberly Choyce James and her children has resulted in the harsh reality of losing, in the trial court, her parental rights to her children. James' parental rights to her five remaining*fn2 children—B.J. and J.J., children James shared with her husband, Darren James, and a daughter L.C., a son L.C., and S.C., James' children from earlier relationships*fn3—were terminated after a jury trial. James now challenges the jury charge and the legal and factual sufficiency of the evidence to support the jury's findings.
